This rum from the Beenleigh distillery is an exclusive edition of the ‘Magnum Series #2’ collection. This series is the result of a collaboration between La Maison & Velier and the Magnum press agency. After Elliott Erwitt for the first edition, it's photographer Alex Webb's turn to be featured on each bottle.
Founded in 1884, the Beenleigh distillery is located in South East Queensland, on the banks of the Albert River. It produces molasses rum using a double distillation process. The first stage takes place in a single continuous column still. Distillation continues in a copper pot still called ‘The Old Copper’.
This 2015 vintage rum was aged for 8 years in bourbon casks.
